Our first fundraiser of the year was held this past April during Financial Literacy Awareness Month at the 8th floor concept store of Lafayette 148 NY, a women’s clothing brand based in New York City. As part of the collaborative event, Lafayette 148 NY provided a 10% discount on their spring collection with a portion of the proceeds designated for Financially CLEAN programming and outreach.
Guests were treated to a warm atmosphere of networking, delectable bites, and heartfelt speeches by co-founders Shaun Lynda and Dionne Nicholls as well as those who have been impacted positively by Financially CLEAN’s educational teaching. In addition, co-chairs Sheila Brandenburg and her daughter were present to showcase the latest Lafayette 148 NY fashions and mingle with guests.
Financially CLEAN is appreciative of the support of the attendees, co-hosts, Lafayette 148 NY.
