Live Financially CLEAN at Borough Hall

Last week, Financially CLEAN launched its latest workshop to a packed house at Borough Hall on Tuesday August 13, 2019. The free financial literacy workshop is an 8 week program that focuses on topics including understanding and leveraging credit, saving and investing, graduating with limited debt, benefits of becoming a landlord, and more. 

Activities kicked off at The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne tha God and Angela Yee speaking with Financially CLEAN’s Shaun Lynda and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams about financially literacy and how many aspects of your life impact and affect your financial well-being.

The initial workshop session began with a range of speakers that featured Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee, Attorney Roger Archibald, Mr 850 Jeffery Whaley, WACRIA Foundation Jonathan Abu, Ms Florida Lekha Ravi & Ms Vermont Tyra Daniels, and Financially CLEAN’s founders Dionne Nicholls and Shaun Lynda.

The workshop continues every Tuesday at 6:30pm until October 1st at Borough Hall.
